Department of Orthodontics & Dent facial Orthopaedics is well equipped with state of the art infrastructure, which offers Post graduate, PG Diploma and Phd programs. We believe in 4D principles which stand for discipline, direction, dedication and determination. The faculty members are highly qualified and experienced.
They are trained from various schools of thoughts of Orthodontics, thereby inculcating the best of all this in teaching and training programs of our department. The staff of the department have travelled widely and have won laurels at various International and National forums for their clinical and research presentations. The department has always strived to teach beyond syllabus, keeping in trend with the current research.
A lot of projects on genetics have been carried out. The department has to its credit more than 50 International and National publications. The department has organized contemporary CDE programmes which are well attended and appreciated. The students are trained right from basic to contemporary orthodontic approaches including Lingual & Other Invisible orthodontics. The department has an active alumni association.
