The deparments of Basic Medical Sciences are Human Anatomy, Physiology, Biochemistry, Pharmacology, General Pathology and Microbiology, which are housed, in well-ventilated and large set-ups. These are equipped with large number of microscopes of high quality with lens for double demonstrations. Numerous working tables are provided with artificial light source as an option. Prescribed sophisticated instruments, culture media, glasswares and chemicals are provided for practical and demonstration classes.

Projectable teaching material like enlarged colour prints of study slides; regional dissections and original study slides are available.

The dissection hall belongs exclusively to the department of Anatomy. It is provided with dissection of Anatomy. It is provided with dissection tables and dissecting instruments to perform dissection under guidance in a hygienic atmosphere.

A museum with human skeletons, individual bones, embryology models, Anatomy and Pathological specimens, study and examination specimens, has been set-up.
